As of July 1, 2020, the Association office will be opening on a limited basis ONLY to members who are attending in-person classes and committee meetings, or shopping in the Realtor® Store.

All other member services will continue to be offered remotely by our staff either by phone or email, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.

We encourage members if possible to place their store orders online, by phone or email, however, the Realtor® Store will be open with only 1 (one) shopper permitted in the store at a time. The Member Lounge will remain closed until further notice per the Governor’s order to keep common areas closed.

Anyone entering the building will be required to wear a face mask, have their temperature checked, and practice social distancing guidelines. Any person with a temperature of 99 degrees or above will not be permitted further entry.

Serve on our Board of Directors! Nominations are now being accepted for members interested in serving on the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors® (GLAR) and Metro Search, Inc. (MSI) Board of Directors.

Candidates for the GLAR Board of Directors must have been a Realtor® member in good standing for at least one (1) year and must have served at least one (1) year as an active member of a committee or task force. There are no prior service requirements to serve on the MSI Board of Directors.

To nominate yourself or a fellow Realtor®, please forward a brief biography and photo, for publication to the membership, as well as a written commitment to serve if elected, to the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors®, 6300 Dutchmans Pkwy., Louisville, KY 40205, Attention Kellie Walker or email the information to Kellie@LouisvilleRealtors.com.

Nominations must be received by 5:00pm July 1, 2020. All nominations will be submitted to the appropriate Nominating Committee for consideration.

The Kentucky Real Estate Commission (KREC) has announced that all licensees must use the new Guide to Agency Relationships, Agency Consent Agreement- Buyer, and Agency Consent Agreement-Seller forms no later than September 1, 2020. KREC will begin to take disciplinary action if those forms are not used beginning September 1st. The forms library on Transaction Desk will be updated with these new forms this week. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our charity selection process for our community grants was temporarily postponed. We resumed the voting process and are asking for your help to determine which charities from our 5 finalists will be our grant recipients for this year. The top 2 charities with the highest number of votes from our membership will be selected as the recipients of our community grants funded by our charity events. Voting is open to active members of GLAR and members may only vote ONCE for one charity. Duplicate votes will be discarded. Click here to read more about these finalists. Any Real Estate Licensee wishing to be considered for a 3-year term as a Kentucky Real Estate Commissioner should submit an application form to Kentucky REALTORS®. Applicants must have, immediately prior to the date of their appointment, been a resident of the Commonwealth of Kentucky for ten (10) years. Applicants must have also held an active Kentucky real estate license for ten (10) years.
