NAR's Pricing Strategies Course - November 25

The National Association of REALTORS® Pricing Strategies: Mastering the CMA course covers the nuts and bolts of comparative market analysis (CMA), including its purpose, key principles of valuation that impact these analyses, and important valuation terminology. Participants will understand the purpose of appraisals, how they differ from CMAs and the scope of the appraiser’s role. After completing the course, real estate professionals will be able to effectively address client concerns about pricing, choose appropriate comparable properties, prepare and present a superior CMA and generate ideas for working constructively with appraisers. The Pricing Strategies: Mastering the CMA course is required to attain the Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) Certification and also meets the elective requirement for the ABR® designation.

Openings for KYR Delegates

The Greater Louisville Association of Realtors® has five (5) openings for appointments to the Kentucky Realtors® Delegate Body. An individual appointed as a Delegate will serve a three (3) year term beginning January 1, 2020 and ending December 31, 2022.

The Delegate Body is responsible for:
-Electing KYR Officers
-Electing representatives to NAR
-Approving the strategic plan and budget recommended by the Board of Directors
-The Delegate Body may review and reverse decisions of the Board of Directors in accordance with the Bylaws.

All Delegate Body Members are required to attend regular open meetings of the Board of Directors, Delegate Body, and special called meetings of the Delegate Body, and may attend any open special called Board of Directors meeting. The normally scheduled meetings are held in February (typically Lexington), June (location varies), September (location varies), and December (typically Lexington). GLAR has a policy in place to reimburse Delegates for most expenses associated with traveling to these meetings.

Delegates should be familiar with the current Bylaws, Constitution, and Policies of the National Association of Realtors® and the Kentucky Association of Realtors®, Roberts Rules of Order and legislative activity on the local, state and national levels.

Flexmls: Scroll Less, View More

Starting October 24th, you’ll be able to see more report options when you print or email listings from the search results page from Flexmls Web. The window that displays report options on the Listings to Print or Email page in response to your feedback is expanded. Previously, only three options were displayed at a time, and you needed to scroll to see the rest. Now, ten options will be displayed without scrolling.
