At Home With Diversity Certification at GLAR on October 9th
At Home With Diversity (AHWD) is a NAR® certification program designed to present a picture of the changing face of the real estate industry. Since 1998, the At Home With
Diversity program has prepared over 20,000 REALTORS® to work effectively with and within today’s increasingly diverse pool of homebuyers. The course is a 6-hour class that addresses the topics of diversity, fair housing, and business planning development. After successfully completing the course, REALTORS® are eligible to apply for the official AHWD certification, which conveys to clients they’re working with a dynamic real estate professional with expertise that transcends cultural barriers. KYR Accepting Applications for Commissioner
Any Real Estate Licensee wishing to be considered for a
3-year term as a Kentucky Real Estate Commissioner should submit an application form to Kentucky REALTORS®. Applicants must have, immediately prior to the date of their appointment, been a resident of the Commonwealth of Kentucky for ten (10) years. Applicants must have also held an
active Kentucky real estate license for ten (10) years. Deadline for submission is October 11th to Kentucky REALTORS®, by mail (2708 Old Rosebud Road, Lexington, KY 40509) or by email (rwilson@kyrealtors.com). Candidate interviews will be held in Lexington on October 15, 2019. The application form and detailed requirements are available at www.kyrealtors.com.

REALTOR Store Closed for Inventory on Oct. 1st
The REALTOR Store at the GLAR office will be closed for inventory on Tuesday, October 1st. It will reopen for normal business hours on Wednesday, October 2nd.
