Introducing GLAR's New CEO: Jakeeva Lee

When the search began for a new Chief Executive Officer to lead the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors® (GLAR), your Board of Directors created a committee of Realtor® leaders to conduct the process. This carefully selected group worked closely with CEO recruiting consultant Stephen Kowalchuk, Managing Director and Partner at Corporate Management Advisors (CMA) to find the right candidate for this important role.

After a nationwide search, we are excited to announce that Jakeeva Lee has been selected as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors®.

Jakeeva comes to us from the Chicago Association of Realtors®, which has a membership of 17,000. As an accomplished and results-driven association management executive, she has advanced associations and non-profit organizations through big picture vision and passion. Her expertise as a strategic leader is rooted through strong organizational and governance management, member engagement, holistic inclusion, external affairs strategy and philanthropic development. Jakeeva will begin her new role as CEO on January 3, 2024 and we are excited to have her join the GLAR team. She will also be at our upcoming Installation and Member Holiday Party on December 14th, so members attending the event will have the opportunity to meet and welcome her.
