We have been working hard to prepare our GLAR Education Center to reopen for in-person, socially distanced classes beginning July 1, 2020. All 48 hours of required Post-License Education (PLE) will be offered at GLAR, in-person beginning July 14th.
The
room has be arranged so each participant has his or her own table. This enables 32 participants in the room at a safe 6-foot distance. In accordance with government and health care guidelines, the following policies will be in place:
• Anyone entering the building must wear a mask.
• All class participants must have their temperature taken. Anyone with a temperature of 99 or above will not be permitted to attend the class.
• Participants will access the classroom via the stairwell in the foyer.
• The elevator will be available for those who require it, however, only one person may use the elevator at a time.
• A plexiglass barrier will separate staff and course participants during sign-in.
• Participants will be encouraged to bring their own pens for signing-in to class and taking notes.
• Participants may remove their mask when seated at their own table, but must wear a mask anytime they leave
their seat.
• Only 2 people will be permitted into the restrooms at the same time.
• All surfaces will be wiped down with disinfectant between classes.
• We will no longer offer, snacks or drinks. However, participants are welcome to bring their own.
• Evaluations will be sent and collected electronically.
• Completion certificates will be emailed to students.
