Serve on our Board of Directors! Nominations are now being accepted for members interested in serving on the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors® (GLAR) and
Metro Search, Inc. (MSI) Board of Directors.
Candidates for the GLAR Board of Directors must have been a Realtor® member in good standing for at least one (1) year and must have served at least one (1) year as an active member of a committee or task force. There are no prior service requirements to serve on the MSI Board of Directors.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our charity selection process for our community grants was temporarily postponed. We are now resuming the voting process and are asking for your help to determine which charities will be our grant recipients for this year.
Members can vote now for one of the following finalists:
Active Heroes,
Kentucky Refugee Ministries,
Lighthouse Promise,
National Alliance on Mental Illness, or
Senior Care Experts.
The top 2 charities with the highest number of votes from our membership will be selected as the recipients of our community grants funded by our charity events. Voting is open to active members of GLAR and members may only vote ONCE for one charity. Duplicate votes will be discarded. Click here to read more about these finalists. | Congress Approves Widened PPP Loan Terms
|
|
|
President Trump signed a bill last Friday that was approved by Congress that amends the CARES Act to give more flexibility to Paycheck Protection Program borrowers regarding how they can use their loan proceeds. Relaxed rules under the PPP Flexibility Act, which was passed by the House and the Senate, also affect some of the requirements for becoming eligible for loan forgiveness. READ MORE.

| NAR Buyer/Seller Survey on Safely Navigating COVID-19

NAR worked with two of the country's leading experts in public opinion, Rich Thau, President of Engagious, and Jon Last, President of Sports & Leisure Research Group, to provide REALTORS® with key insights about how consumers want to safely navigate home sales transactions in the midst of the on-going COVID-19 health crisis. The free recorded webinar and slide presentations explore the precautions buyers and sellers expect to take during real estate transactions as well as the precautions they expect real estate professionals to take. The research also looks at how virtual tours are perceived in this new normal, as well as the valuable role real estate agents and brokers play during the home sale process.

Registered voters have until June 15th to request an absentee ballot for the June 23, 2020 primary. Visit the State Board of Elections website at KY Board of Elections to request yours. Completed ballots must be postmarked by June 23, 2020.

Census Data, Affordable Housing & Real Estate Law
GLAR is partnering with the University of Louisville to bring a special class via Webinar called Census Data, Affordable Housing & Real Estate Law.
