March is Women’s History Month and we are celebrating women in real estate! There are so many remarkable women in real estate who have overcome challenges, shattered glass ceilings, and set new standards for excellence within the industry and within the Greater Louisville Association of REALTORS®.

Registration is now open for our GLAR Day at the Races event held this year at the NEW First Turn Club at Churchill Downs!

Join us on Friday, May 10th for a day of racing, networking, and fun. Tickets can be purchased through your member portal for $50 each or in tables of 8 for $400. Tickets include admission to the new First Turn Club event space, buffet lunch, and race program.

We are excited that this new space allows us to accommodate even more of our members wanting to attend than ever before. Please note that due to the popularity of this event, Affiliate Members may purchase a maximum of 16 tickets per membership.

About the New First Turn Club:
Positioned on the iconic first turn of the racetrack, the First Turn Club offers a front row seat to the thunderous racing and the famous walkover. The dining area includes access to a private trackside viewing terrace next to the national broadcast plaza, a panoramic video board wrapping the center bar, and a 5,000 square foot climate-controlled interior with open areas for guests to mingle. Not to mention a perfect photo op view of the Twin Spires!

Don't miss our upcoming session featuring Matt Troiani, NAR's Senior Counsel and Director of Legal Affairs at our NAR Update on March 7th. You'll also hear from your NAR Directors Lamont Breland, Will Fischer, and Carter Martin, Jr.

Members will be updated on the NAR lawsuits and culture concerns as well as what solutions are being put in place. This provides a great opportunity for members to ask questions and hear directly from both NAR and your own representatives at the National level. As a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and the Greater Louisville Association of REALTORS®, you must fulfill your Ethics obligation every three (3) years. Cycle 7 is January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2024. Failure to complete this requirement will result in a suspension of your membership privileges with the Greater Louisville Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.

You can find out if you have completed your requirement by going on to your member portal, logging in, selecting Menu, Your Information, then View Education History and Personal Education Tracking.
