On this site, you will find important adjustments GLAR and MSI are making, along with other comprehensive information, guidance, and training to help you understand how the proposed settlement will affect your business practices and when these changes will take effect. Get to know candidates for the 2025 GLAR and MSI Board of Directors! Board elections will begin at 9:00 am on Monday, July 22, 2024 and remain open until 12:00 pm on July 29, 2024.
NEW THIS YEAR - HOW TO VOTE:
An email will be sent to
all eligible REALTOR® members, to the email you have on file in your member record, containing a link to the voting site along with instructions on how to log in when voting opens. The email will contain a unique password that is specific only to you to access the voting site.

Key Changes For Your Business Coming August 13th
|
|
|
1. Beginning AUGUST 13, 2024, we are removing all compensation fields in the MLS. No offer of compensation information will be allowed in any MLS fields. Violators will be fined. Review the fine structure at GLARfacts.com.
2. Buyer-broker agreements are required before ALL in-person or live-virtual home tours beginning August 13, 2024. However, we strongly encourage you to start utilizing all new forms even before August 13th. Sign up to attend our education and training on August 5th. 3. Be aware of several other smaller items included in the settlement that affect you. Find

session for the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) Designation in September! Following the ABR course, we are offering an ABR-approved elective course called the Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) Certification, also taught by Hampton. The ABR 2-day course is FREE for members and the RENE Course is only $225 if you register by September 2nd.
