NAR Board Approves "Clear Cooperation" Policy

The National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors took a big step to bolster brokerage cooperation Monday, passing MLS Statement 8.0, also known as the Clear Cooperation policy. The policy requires listing brokers who are participants in a multiple listing service to submit their listing to the MLS within one business day of marketing the property to the public. Local MLSs have until May 1, 2020, to implement the policy. GLAR members will be notified when this new policy becomes effective for our MLS. GLAR Community Grant Application Open for Local Nonprofits to Apply

Do you have a local charity that is near and dear to your heart that makes an amazing difference in our community? Have them apply for the GLAR Community Grant! Nonprofits chosen through our selection process will be the recipients of proceeds from our charity events for the fiscal year. The deadline for local charities to submit an application is December 31, 2019. Share this link with your favorite charity to apply!

Kentucky Core Course - Is It Your Year?

Is this your year to take the Kentucky Core course? Find out by going to www.krec.ky.gov and looking under the License Verification tab. GLAR is offering the Kentucky Core course three times in December on December 6th, 11th and 23rd. Core must be completed by all active licensees subject to continuing education once every four (4) years. No other continuing education course will substitute for the Kentucky Core Course. Core will also satisfy the continuing education requirements for licensees in the year that it is taken.

Bell Ringers Needed for REALTOR Ring Day - Dec. 6

REALTORS ® can help the Salvation Army Ring for the Season! KYR has declared Friday, December 6th as Kentucky REALTOR ® Ring Day! The Red Kettle Campaign supports social services for those in need during the holiday season and throughout the year. You can sign up to participate locally at www.Louisvillevolunteer.org by clicking on the Register to Ring tab.
