KYR continues to be focused on bringing a quality health insurance plan to its membership when the time is right. They are at the point with a particular option, called Freedom Select, where they would like to evaluate interest based on the in-network providers available to subscribers. Please take just a few minutes to check that the provider(s) you wish to utilize are a partner of this health insurance option and then FILL OUT THE SHORT SURVEY to let KYR know. This is an important step to ensure that as many members as possible do not experience undue burden when using this insurance option.

At their January 16, 2020 meeting, the Kentucky Real Estate Commission (KREC) voted to provide a grace period for Kentucky licensees by giving them until June 1, 2020, to use the new Seller’s Disclosure and Agency forms. Even though the new forms are now in force, no penalty will be assessed for using the previous version of these forms until June 1, 2020.
It is our understanding that the Commission will be addressing additional changes to these forms at their May meeting. We plan to upload the updated forms with any changes made in May as soon as they are approved by the Commission. In the interim, you may access the most current forms on KREC’s website. If a broker would like to upload the currently available version of the form to Transaction Desk for their agents use, they may send the forms and such request to clientforms@lwolf.com.

A new government website offers convenient information about mortgage relief and renter protections. The website, created in partnership with the Federal Housing Finance Agency, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, consolidates their existing resources and new extensive CARES Act assistance offered by all of the agencies into one location. Consumers can find information from the federal government on mortgage relief and protection for renters, tips on avoiding COVID-19–related scams, and search tools for homeowners to determine whether their mortgage is federally backed.
