As a benefit of membership, your cost is reduced from $29 per floor plan to only $12 per plan. This new pricing is effective now and is available to all of our MLS Participants and Subscribers.

The FloPlan System is an easy-to-use app and floor plan manager by FBS, that gives you the ability to instantly improve your listing content by easily creating floor plans and linking them to your listings.

Get tax planning help for your real estate business! YPN is hosting its annual tax planning workshops for members on February 2nd at GLAR. This year, two sessions will be available, a basic and an advanced level.

The TAX BASICS session begins at 1:00pm and will cover:

* What income is taxed for a REALTOR,

* How is REALTOR income different from regular wages or a salary at a corporation,

* How is the income taxed for a REALTOR,

* Recordkeeping best practices and what is deductible,

* Ways to save/plan for taxes, and

* When does it make sense to work with an accountant and what are the different types of CPA’s out there.

The TAX ADVANCED session begins at 3:00pm and will cover:

* Tax planning strategies for tax minimization,

* Entity structure,
* Retirement planning strategies to lower taxes and save for the future,
* Multiple pursuits inside of real estate – REALTORS, flippers, builders, wholesalers, etc.,
* Liability protection between multiple activities, and
* Working with a CPA firm that specializes in real estate activity and the benefits of doing so.

Both of these workshops are free to REALTOR members courtesy of YPN, but you must reserve your seat to attend. Lunch will be provided at 12:30pm prior to the first session.

The GLAR Community Outreach Committee has been working on creating impactful projects that our members can participate in to continue to support our community in 2022. For many families, times are tough and the need for help is right here in our backyard. The committee will be hosting a food drive to fill up the pantry of Seven Counties Services during the month of January.

The Kentucky Real Estate Commission requires all new sales associate licensees to complete 48 hours of post-license education (PLE) within 24 months of obtaining and activating their real estate license. If you do not complete it, your license will be canceled by the Commission.

GLAR is offering ALL 48 hours of required PLE starting March 8, 2022. There are 2 options to register:
