GLAR Announces New Association Presidents & 2022 Realtor® Award Recipients

Louisville, KY - The Greater Louisville Association of REALTORS® (GLAR) announces their newly installed Presidents and recipients of annual awards at the organization's Annual Meeting & Installation.

Kimberly Sickles of Sickles Inc. Realty was installed as President of the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors® (GLAR), and Kurt Schuler of Schuler Bauer Real Estate ERA Powered as President of Metro Search, Inc.(MSI) - the entity that oversees the Association's Multiple Listing Service.

Awards were presented to local Realtors® of distinction in the following categories.

REALTOR® of the Year Award – AnnElizabeth Delahanty

REALTOR® of the Year is awarded based on Realtor® Spirit, Local, State and National Association activity, business and education experience, and civic activity.

John R. Carpenter Community Service Award – Greg Virgin

The John R. Carpenter Award honors a GLAR Member who serves the community above and beyond the call to duty and goes to great lengths to serve civic or charitable interests.

Wall of Honor Award – Lester Sanders
The Wall of Honor Award recognizes the highest level of leadership and long-time devoted service, dedication and contributions to the Greater Louisville Association of REALTORS.

President's Award – Matt Weaver
The President's Award is given by the President to the person the President feels has been truly outstanding in their contributions to the Board during that Presidential Year.

YPN Emerging Leader Scholarship Award – Bianca Blakely
The Emerging Leader Scholarship aims to recognize the value of professional growth, and emerging leaders striving for success in the real estate industry.

Affiliate of the Year – Brad Lawler, HomeTeam Inspection Services
The Affiliate of the Year Award is selected by GLAR's outgoing President and given to an Affiliate member who positively impacted GLAR during that Presidential Year.
